When I was little I remember going to visit my great-aunt Margaret. She had a great big cherry orchard and raspberry patch that we would visit at picking time. I definitely remember doing a lot more eating than picking, though! Fortunately I have a lot of brothers and sisters and we managed to get all the picking done. And then it was time for making jam and putting up all that fruit.
