52 Weeks of Color Challenge: Amazon

With this week we come to the end of Luna Jubilee’s 52 Weeks of Color Challenge. I thought of wearing something festive and green, but the end of the challenge has dampened my spirits somewhat—if only because now I have to find some other way to be creative with my blogging! At any rate, it has been a marvelous two years. And this year I have enjoyed sharing my favorite designers and items with my fellow bloggers and friends.

52 Weeks of Color Challenge: Madder Lake Deep

It was good to see that most everyone had to get creative with this color this week!!! I took a chance and asked the truly lovely Maxi Gossamer to show off her gorgeous self in my color challenge post this week, and as you can see, she did, after fiddling with her earrings for awhile!  And I found that the Santa Fe red option from her set is truly the right red for this color challenge—you can click through the image to see them up close. I just love this lady!

The marvelous things to blog just don’t end—the gorgeous new dress from Kunglers, new hair from Truth Hawks, the fabulous new skybox from Barnesworth Anubis…I will never catch up.

Snow Day

Do any of you have a friend that not only lets you dress them up for pictures but also tolerates snow being stuffed in their face? I do.

Clearly he’s a keeper. Stewart is bearing the switch to mesh clothing with good grace…most of the time. And he does wear it well!

And speaking of keepers, there is so much fabulous mesh goodness flying around this holiday season. The Frostbite Cottage has been a huge hit since Collabor88 opened last Saturday. I personally haven’t wanted to take off Trill Zapatero’s  gorgeous knitted sweaters since the minute they came out. And Scout Danger of Sanctuaire has made a wonderful mesh tree in three different versions, undecorated, lights only or fully decorated. Add to that the lovely mesh giftboxes from Cory Edo and my cozy boots from KKC, and I am one happy girl.

A Winter Home

A friend recently asked me to landscape his sim for winter. I’m afraid I went a bit crazy, but it has been so much fun to do. One of my favorite things was this little area where I set up one of my houses.

I know, those windows are totally inappropriate for wintertime, and a house really does need a door, especially in winter. I claim SL immunity to those things however, because I have always loved Cross Jupiter’s beautiful little cottage.
